Bhagavad Gita 4.31
यज्ञशिष्टामृतभुजो यान्ति ब्रह्म सनातनम्। नायं लोकोऽस्त्ययज्ञस्य कुतोऽन्यः कुरुसत्तम॥
Those who partake of the nectar-like remnants of sacrifice attain the eternal Brahman. For one who offers no sacrifice, even this world is not joyful, how then the next, O best of Kurus?
Living with a spirit of contribution brings joy in this life and opens the door to ultimate eternal realization.
