Bhagavad Gita 5.22
ये हि संस्पर्शजा भोगा दुःखयोनय एव ते। आद्यन्तवन्तः कौन्तेय न तेषु रमते बुधः॥
The pleasures born of sense contact are indeed the sources of misery, for they have a beginning and an end, O son of Kunti. The wise do not delight in them.
Sensory enjoyments inevitably end in disappointment or loss; wise seekers refrain from basing happiness on transient objects.
