Bhagavad Gita 6.32
आत्मौपम्येन सर्वत्र समं पश्यति योऽर्जुन। सुखं वा यदि वा दुःखं स योगी परमो मतः॥
O Arjuna, one who sees equality everywhere by comparing others with oneself, experiencing others' joy and sorrow as one's own, is considered the highest Yogi.
Defines the highest Yogi through universal empathy: treating others' pain and happiness with the same sensitivity as one's own.
