Bhagavad Gita 9.3
अश्रद्दधानाः पुरुषा धर्मस्यास्य परन्तप। अप्राप्य मां निवर्तन्ते मृत्युसंसारवर्त्मनि॥
People who lack faith in this sacred dharma, O scorcher of enemies, do not attain Me; they return repeatedly to the path of mortal existence.
Faithlessness keeps consciousness bound to material cycles of birth and death.
